About this project

typesafe-sdk-go is a Go SDK for the TypeSafe AI API. TypeSafe answers typed questions about a piece of state and returns probability distributions, not prose. There is nothing to parse and no format to coax out of a model. It needs Go 1.25 or newer and has no third-party dependencies. The package is named typesafe, so an import needs no alias in most editors but reads better with one: Set TYPESAFEAPIKEY in your environment, then: There is a runnable version in examples/demo:

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • Installs with go get, needs Go 1.25 or newer, and has no third-party dependencies.
  • Sends Noul, Choice, and Score questions in one call, evaluated in parallel and in isolation.
  • Validates requests locally before sending and exposes Validate for early checks.
  • Client is safe for concurrent use, pools connections, and reads the key from TYPESAFE_API_KEY.

Watch out

Needs a TypeSafe API key and network access; debug bodies are not redacted and may hold evaluated data. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

Closed weights have not stopped the ecosystem from rebuilding the shape in the open. API-compatible servers, retrained heads on small models, and inference-time tricks that skip generation entirely.
