About this project

Go client for the TypeSafe System One evaluation API. This is not an official TypeSafe AI Go SDK. It is a community-maintained project primarily maintained by Kisshan13. Then import it in your Go program: The default model is typesafe.JevLatest ("jev-latest"). You can omit EvaluationRequest.Model to use it, or set it explicitly. The default API base URL is configure another endpoint with typesafe.WithBaseURL(" Passing an empty URL restores the default endpoint.

Highlights

  • Raw and builder patterns emit the same EvaluationRequest with Noul, Choice, and Score questions.
  • Answers.Get returns Answer plus bool for safe lookup; MustGet returns directly and panics on missing IDs.
  • Client retries 429 and 529 responses with exponential backoff for rate and overload handling.
  • Base URL defaults to https://api.typesafe.ai and can be customized, with empty string restoring the default.

Watch out

Community-maintained and not official; see the examples directory for runnable patterns and configure retries with WithBaseURL, WithHTTPClient, WithMaxRetries, and WithRetryBackoff. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

Closed weights have not stopped the ecosystem from rebuilding the shape in the open. API-compatible servers, retrained heads on small models, and inference-time tricks that skip generation entirely.
