About this project

Go SDK for TypeSafe Jev, a decision-only model that returns typed answers (yes/no probability, choice, score) instead of text. Comes with jev-cli, a command-line tool built on it for UNIX pipelines. state, Instructions and Criteria take any value that marshals to JSON; a json.RawMessage is sent verbatim. 429 and 529 are retried with exponential backoff. A local tensai server speaks the same API:

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • One-question and multi-question calls return labels, probabilities, scores, and confidence values.
  • Ordered option lists preserve author intent; unstructured values marshal to JSON transparently.
  • CLI adds semantic grep, quiet boolean mode for exit statuses, and JSON output flags.
  • Throttled responses retry with exponential backoff; local servers work via endpoint override.

Watch out

The package reads no environment variables itself; the CLI resolves keys, model, endpoint, and timeouts with flags overriding them. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

An unofficial Go client that keeps Jev answers in your own types, so a choice over your enum yields that enum and the compiler checks the switch you write on it.

Unofficial Go SDK for TypeSafe AI's System One API, kept deliberately minimal: one client, a state map, a map of typed questions, and answers read back by question id.

Closed weights have not stopped the ecosystem from rebuilding the shape in the open. API-compatible servers, retrained heads on small models, and inference-time tricks that skip generation entirely.
