Do I need separate dependencies for JVM and multiplatform targets?

No. The multiplatform module uses one dependency line and Gradle resolves the right artifact per target, so a JVM project and a multiplatform project in commonMain share it; Maven builds depend on the JVM artifact by name.

How do question ids and instructions actually reach the model?

The id is only for your code and is never sent to the model, so the instructions must state the whole question. Undescribed choice options are sent as null.

What does a noul near 0.5 mean, and where is confidence reported?

Near 0.5 means yes and no are about equally likely, not medium; use a Score to measure degree. Confidence exists on Choice and Score only, summarizes concentration, and is not the winning probability; Nouls have none.

I am upgrading from 0.1.0 — what breaks?

Update the Maven group to com.pambrose.jev4k from 0.2.0 onward. Most 0.1.0 code works unchanged; the release notes list the few API changes and how to exclude 0.1.0 if another library still brings it in.

Which platforms and HTTP engines does jev4k target?

JVM on Java 17 bytecode via CIO, Apple platforms via NSURLSession, Linux x64 and arm64 via Curl, Windows via WinHttp, and Node.js via fetch. The whole API is common code; only the HTTP engine changes per platform. Blocking calls are JVM only, and Linux Curl needs the system CA certificates.

Can I use the js or wasmJs artifacts in a browser?

No. They are built and tested for Node.js; loaded in a browser they would hand the API key to every visitor. A browser app should call a backend of your own instead. On iOS, App Transport Security blocks a plain http baseUrl unless the app allows it.

How do I add the dependency, including from Maven?

Gradle projects use com.pambrose.jev4k:jev4k:0.2.1, which resolves to the right target artifact. Maven does not read Gradle module metadata, so a Maven build names the JVM artifact directly: groupId com.pambrose.jev4k, artifactId jev4k-jvm, version 0.2.1.
