About this project

A dependency-free Swift package for TypeSafe's Jev, a remote decision model that returns typed judgments and probabilities. Independent, unofficial SDK. This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by TypeSafe AI. It implements the System One HTTP API. Swift 6.0 or newer, with Swift 6 concurrency checking. iOS 15+, macOS 12+, or Linux with FoundationNetworking. A TypeSafe API credential for live service calls. For local development, add it as a local Swift package in Xcode, or use:

Highlights

  • Supports Swift 6 concurrency on iOS 15+, macOS 12+, and Linux with FoundationNetworking.
  • Groups independent questions in one request with type-erased batches and full validation.
  • Offers reusable question sets with property access and CodingKeys support.
  • Reads credentials explicitly or from the environment without loading .env files.

Watch out

Independent and unofficial, with no TypeSafe affiliation; keep keys on servers or CLIs and use a backend for distributed Apple apps. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

Original write-ups on what this entry is for.

Closed weights have not stopped the ecosystem from rebuilding the shape in the open. API-compatible servers, retrained heads on small models, and inference-time tricks that skip generation entirely.
