About this project

A Swift library and CLI for Jev, TypeSafe AI's System One model. Jev does not write text. You hand it a state and some typed questions, and it hands back typed answers with calibrated probabilities. Use the Swift library for type-safe reads in an app, or the CLI for JSON-based calls from a terminal or coding agent. All three questions travel in one request. Jev evaluates them in parallel, so asking more of them costs almost no extra latency.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • Three question types map to typed answers, with confidence helpers and a routing policy for auto, confirm, or escalate.
  • Library has no dependencies and installs as a Swift package; CLI reads request JSON from a file or stdin.
  • Key comes from TYPESAFE_API_KEY or a permission-restricted key file, never from request JSON or arguments.
  • Bundled agent skill explains request and response shapes; Linux build is declared but not covered by CI.

Watch out

Linux is declared but not covered by CI, so treat it as untested, and question names identify answers so reused names collide. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

Closed weights have not stopped the ecosystem from rebuilding the shape in the open. API-compatible servers, retrained heads on small models, and inference-time tricks that skip generation entirely.
