About this project

Swift community SDK for TypeSafe AI. Add the package (Swift 6.0 or newer, macOS 13, iOS 16): Set TYPESAFEAPIKEY in your environment, then create and use the client: Answer types are inferred from your questions. With several questions, answers is a tuple in the order of the questions. The library has no dependencies. The model sees the options of a Choice in the order you give them, and the order can change the probabilities.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • One client call maps state plus questions to typed answers.
  • Tuple answers preserve question order for multi-question calls.
  • No external dependencies for Apple-platform apps.
  • Retry policy and question types are inspectable in source.

Watch out

Answer types follow question order as a tuple for multiple questions, Choice option order can shift probabilities, and the digest points to client, question and retry sources for defaults. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

Closed weights have not stopped the ecosystem from rebuilding the shape in the open. API-compatible servers, retrained heads on small models, and inference-time tricks that skip generation entirely.
