About this project

🇰🇷한국어 | 🇯🇵日本語 | 🇨🇳中文 | 🇷🇺Русский | 🇬🇧English. Boot a virtual iPhone via Apple's Virtualization.framework using PCC research VM infrastructure — and hand control of it to Jev, TypeSafe's System One model, from a natural-language goal. Xcode + iOS SDK (cross-compiles the guest daemon) SIP/AMFI relaxation to allow private PV=3 entitlements with unsigned-binary. One command creates a VM end-to-end (download → patch → DFU restore → CFW install → first boot):

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • Creates VMs end to end: download, patch, DFU restore, CFW install, and first boot from `vm create`.
  • Requires Apple Silicon, recent macOS, Xcode with iOS SDK, and SIP/AMFI relaxation for research entitlements.
  • Offers five patch variants from patchless through jailbreak to anti-VM research builds.
  • Exposes screenshots, touch, swipes, keys, and clipboard over `<bundle>/vphone.sock` for scripted control.

Watch out

Nested virtualization is unsupported and setup is invasive; misconfigured regions or entitlements cause known boot and install failures. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

The request shape barely changes across surfaces; the surrounding contract does. When to call the API directly and when a gateway, a Worker binding, or a router entry earns its extra hop.
