About this project

Go client for the TypeSafe AI System One API (jev models). Send a state and a map of typed questions (Noul, Choice, Score), get typed answers back — in one call. The library imports only the standard library (testify is used in tests only). resp.Model is the versioned model that answered (e.g. jev-1.13.0), resp.Usage holds token counts, resp.RequestID the x-typesafe-request-id header.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • Installs with go get, needs Go 1.24 or later, and imports only the standard library outside tests.
  • Builds Noul, Choice, and Score questions in code with typed accessors for answers, probabilities, and confidence.
  • Unknown server-side answer types decode into UnknownAnswer with raw JSON instead of breaking code.
  • Configures key, base URL, model, timeout, and retries via options or env vars, with per-call overrides.

Watch out

Unofficial community SDK with no TypeSafe affiliation; needs a TYPESAFE_API_KEY and live integration tests spend tokens. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

An unofficial Go client that keeps Jev answers in your own types, so a choice over your enum yields that enum and the compiler checks the switch you write on it.

Closed weights have not stopped the ecosystem from rebuilding the shape in the open. API-compatible servers, retrained heads on small models, and inference-time tricks that skip generation entirely.
