Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-15; it was truncated mid-setup, and the Slack alert example comes from the ai-apps profile. It works only for fields active on X, and validate --online warns early when the accounts you care about are missing or quiet.

A watcher for X that collects posts matching a YAML profile, has Jev judge each one, groups posts about the same update, and raises big, trending, or notable alerts in Slack early enough to act on them.
Jev classifies each new post by topic, speaker, and exclusions, then scores significance for your field plus relevance to you and which of your actions apply. Deterministic rules combine that score with momentum before raising an alert, and related posts are grouped into events.
Add the marketplace with /plugin marketplace add ethan-ab/xscout-jev and install with /plugin install xscout@xscout-jev, then ask Claude to set it up. The scout-setup skill interviews you, researches accounts and keywords, writes and checks the profile, replays recent days to tune it, and schedules it.
