This is one of several Jev listings for the same project. The canonical entry is TypeSafe Go — sd109.

About this project

Go client for the TypeSafe AI API. TypeSafe answers typed questions about text or structured state. You describe the questions, it returns structured answers — probabilities, choices, and scores — instead of free-form text you have to parse. Requires Go 1.23 or newer. The SDK depends only on the standard library. Set TYPESAFEAPIKEY in the environment, or pass APIKey to typesafe.Config: Every question is keyed by the name you choose; answers come back under the same name.

Highlights

  • Builders cover noul, choice, score, structured JSON state, and raw validated questions with forward-compatible answers.
  • Typed answer maps return per-question subsets with token usage and the complete raw response body preserved.
  • Configuration reads explicit fields, then environment, then defaults, with per-call model, timeout, and header overrides.
  • Client is safe for concurrent use with context cancellation, per-attempt timeouts, and credential-redacted logging.

Watch out

Community-maintained with no TypeSafe affiliation; official SDKs cover JavaScript and Python. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

Closed weights have not stopped the ecosystem from rebuilding the shape in the open. API-compatible servers, retrained heads on small models, and inference-time tricks that skip generation entirely.
