This is one of several Jev listings for the same project. The canonical entry is Jev — mayank953.

About this project

Typed AI decisions in Go. An unofficial Jev client for choosing values, estimating probabilities, and scoring against a rubric. Standard library only. Constructors build reusable questions locally. Ask calls Jev; Resolve applies your confidence threshold locally. Choose thresholds using your own evaluation data. Requests have a 30-second total timeout and up to two retries. Attempts may be billed; use jev.WithMaxRetries(0) to disable retries.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • Maps Choice, Noul, and Score to typed Go results including generics for chosen values.
  • Builds reusable questions locally, then separates network Ask from local Resolve thresholds.
  • Reads the API key from the environment with configurable timeout and retry count.
  • Links a triage example, configuration guide, offline example, and MIT license.

Watch out

Unofficial client with billed retries by default; pin thresholds from your own evaluation data. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

Go CLI for Jev with noul, choice, score, eval, rank, and models commands: rank sends one Score question per item per weighted YAML dimension in a single request and sums weight times score in code, while threshold flags turn a failed gate into exit code 10 for scripts and CI.

Original write-ups on what this entry is for.

The request shape barely changes across surfaces; the surrounding contract does. When to call the API directly and when a gateway, a Worker binding, or a router entry earns its extra hop.
