About this project

Typed decisions for AI agents, as an MCP tool. Ask yes/no probability (noul), choice among options, or score on ordered levels about any JSON application state — all questions answered in one fast request. Backed by the TypeSafe System One model (Jev) via @typesafe-ai/sdk, with an opt-in Cloudflare Workers AI provider — see Providers. Add to claudedesktopconfig.json (/Library/Application Support/Claude/) — the same JSON shape works for codex, goose, and pi:

Highlights

  • Installs with npx -y into claude_desktop_config.json; the same JSON shape is documented for codex, goose and pi.
  • Failures return a fallback envelope rather than throwing, so a judge error never blocks an agent workflow.
  • Key rotation on 429 and 529 across TYPESAFE_API_KEYS or the numbered TYPESAFE_API_KEY_2 through _9 variables.
  • A writing guide with four question patterns and three prompt templates: verify-claim, classify and route.

Watch out

The opt-in HTTP transport is unauthenticated by design, and the README states plainly that production remote deployments must sit behind an authenticating OAuth 2.1 proxy per the MCP authorization specification. It binds 127.0.0.1 by default and is stateless, with GET and DELETE on /mcp returning 405, while GET /health is for liveness only. A noul answer is a probability, not a verdict, so the caller has to pick its own action threshold. Selecting the typesafe-api provider with no key configured prints a startup warning and keeps running with fallback envelopes instead of exiting, whereas an invalid JUDGE_PROVIDER value or the Cloudflare provider without credentials fails fast. The guidance about descriptive criteria strings is a claim about how the model behaves, and the README frames the whole question-writing section as an idiom with a separate reference implementation rather than a measured result. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.
