About this project

An MCP server that gives your coding agent fifteen judgment tools backed by TypeSafe's Jev model. The agent hands a tool some evidence and a question it can enumerate: is this claim supported, is this page safe to read, which of these files answers the question, did this patch finish the task. Jev answers with probabilities, usually in under a second (median 464.6 ms round trip in the recorded bench), for about $0.025 per 1,000 decisions on the recorded classify run — and on that benchmark every answer the policy…

Highlights

  • Fourteen judgment tools such as verify and gate, with probabilities mapped to auto, review, or escalate.
  • Four-stage check, find, decide, and ship pipeline aimed at enumerable agent verification steps.
  • Installer with dry-run, per-agent targeting, removal, checkout pinning, and post-write verification.
  • Key file under the user config used when the environment variable is unset, with permission warnings.

Watch out

Needs Python 3.12+, uv, a POSIX system, and a verified TypeSafe key; desktop-app installs may need an explicit key flag because they do not inherit shell env. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.
