About this project

By the same author of the genai crate (Jeremy Chone). Extremely basic functionality / API surface for now. Feel free to cherry pick what you need for now. Part of the zcoder.run Rust libraries, and will probably be used in the zcoder harness (still in the building). Request follows the fluid API style, state accepts impl Into , and questions accept impl Into keyed by impl Into . Request::fromstate(state): state only, no questions yet (Request::new is an alias of it).

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • Builds requests fluently with from_state plus named or indexed questions for noul, choice with criteria, and score with levels.
  • Returns a typed response with model id, input and output tokens, computed cost, and per-question typed answers.
  • Choice and score answers expose probabilities with confidence, and score answers add the level legend.
  • Raw JSON questions are also accepted, so untyped or experimental shapes still pass through.

Watch out

Very early 0.0.x release with a small API surface; confirm the builder and response shapes in the repo before depending on it. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

Unofficial Rust client for the TypeSafe AI System One API, matching the Python SDK 0.6.0 contract: named noul, choice and score questions, a typestated builder, per-call overrides, and a `wire` module for serving the same shape.

An unofficial async Rust client for the TypeSafe System One API in which each question hands back a key typed by its answer, so reading a choice answer as a probability fails to compile.

An async Rust client for models served through the System One API: typed Noul, Choice and Score questions go out with one state and typed answers come back, over a single multiplexed HTTP/2 connection with no vendor built in.

Typed Rust client for TypeSafe's System One API that sends shared state with independent Choice, Score and Noul questions, validates the provider's response against the originating request, and returns latency, attempts and usage with the answers.

Go SDK plus a pipeline-friendly CLI for typed decisions, covering single questions, batched question maps, retries, and line-oriented filtering over stdin.

Original write-ups on what this entry is for.

Closed weights have not stopped the ecosystem from rebuilding the shape in the open. API-compatible servers, retrained heads on small models, and inference-time tricks that skip generation entirely.
