It asks Jev, a decision model, with a fixed rubric set: ordered scores, yes/no questions and multiple-choice options, all sent in one request and evaluated in parallel against the same draft. Scores are normalized in the content script and combined in code into the Send it / Sleep on it verdict, so adding rubrics costs tokens but not latency.
The draft text plus the text, author and described photos of any tweet you reply to or quote go to the TypeSafe systemone endpoint as model jev-latest. If you add an OpenAI key, each attached image and the first video frame is sent to OpenAI for a neutral description, and that description is passed to Jev as media. The README states no retention policy for either provider.

The extension locates the Draft.js composer through data-testid selectors declared at the top of content.js, with a MutationObserver keeping the panel attached across re-renders, but X changes its DOM without notice and those selectors are named as the first place to look when the panel disappears. Targets are Chrome 121+ and Firefox desktop 140+.
Roughly 1.5k to 2.5k input tokens per analysis with rubrics dominating, which the README puts at a fraction of a cent at Jev's published price; output tokens are free. Each image is a separate vision call, cached per attachment, so you pay once per attachment rather than on every keystroke. Auto-analysis fires about 1.2 s after typing stops and can be turned off.
