Will a hand-written SDK drift out of sync with the API?

The sync risk is handled by construction: the types are written against TypeSafe's vendored OpenAPI 3.1 spec rather than guessed, and tests assert them against that spec's own examples and required fields. It is still independent of TypeSafe, so a wire change arrives when the vendored copy is updated.

Unmodeled answers are preserved as UnknownAnswer, the response keeps the exact returned body, and RawAnswer returns one answer object precisely as sent, with fields this version does not model intact. That raw body is excluded from marshaling so a typed round trip cannot rewrite it.

Does a high confidence value mean the answer is correct?

No. Confidence summarizes how peaked the distribution is, not whether the answer is right, so it tells you how strongly the model preferred its pick rather than how often it is right. Use it as a threshold for acting automatically versus sending the case to a person.

Barely more. Every question in a request is evaluated against the same state in parallel and cannot see the other answers, so latency stays close to a one-question call and you pay only the extra question tokens. Asking speculative questions you may ignore is the documented pattern.

TypeSafe evaluates every question in a request in one response, so there is no token stream inside a call. The wrappers work across whole calls: SystemOneAsync runs one call in the background, and StreamSystemOne runs many independent calls with bounded concurrency, WithStreamConcurrency defaulting to 4, plus optional WithStreamOrdered for input order.
