The Chinese README was reviewed 2026-10-17; the digest truncates mid-sentence in the verification steps, so the evaluation document and the end of the limitations section were not captured. It is explicitly a proof of concept built on UI Automation rather than a daily-use IME, and only Win32 edit boxes, Edge, VS Code, Obsidian and Claude Desktop are listed as verified.

A Windows system-tray proof of concept that re-selects Bopomofo characters using Jev: it reads the candidate lists the Microsoft IME already offers and proposes fixes for the whole sentence.
Each character position becomes one question built from the IME's candidates, and the positions are sent in a single request per sentence; Jev judges which selections are wrong, and sentences with several errors take multiple rounds.
Type as usual with Microsoft Bopomofo, then double-tap Caps Lock within 350 ms before pressing Enter; about a second later a floating window appears next to the candidate window.
Press Tab to apply the suggested characters and Esc to cancel; high-confidence fixes come pre-checked, while other reasonable candidates are listed as optional and are not applied by default.
Windows 10 or 11 x64, the built-in Microsoft Bopomofo (TSF), .NET Framework 4.8 and a Jev API key; build with the bundled csc.exe, with no Visual Studio or .NET SDK required.
The README says the key is encrypted with Windows DPAPI user scope and never appears in logs, and judging uses the whole sentence, so sentence text and candidates are sent to Jev; the detailed privacy section was cut off in the digest.
Native Win32 edit boxes, Edge, VS Code, Obsidian and Claude Desktop; the suggestion window position comes from UI Automation events, and the README does not verify other applications one by one.
