No. It pastes text into the input box and stops there: no Enter key, no send button click. Transfer, red-envelope and payment related interface elements are never touched, and those topics are also blocked in the drafting prompt. Whether you send, edit or discard is entirely yours.

Only the chat context at the moment of analysis, sent to the endpoint you configured yourself: the last N messages (default 10, with speaker names in group chats), the relationship setting, up to 12 of your own short recent messages as a tone sample, and your one-line style description. OCR is offline, captured frames stay in memory, and the project runs no server of its own.

The project explicitly maintains only its current recognition. You can fork it and adapt other chat windows yourself, but the author does not provide that adaptation and does not take responsibility for forked changes. Adding a supported app is one line in app/chatapps.py; the bundled release covers WeChat and KakaoTalk.

The project's own code is MIT with a NOTICE, but the shipped PyInstaller bundle includes GPLv3 PySide6-Fluent-Widgets, which makes the release package GPLv3-bound; commercial use needs a separate license. The exe is also unsigned, so SmartScreen blocks it until you choose to run it anyway.

JEV_API_KEY is for judgment and ranking, defaulting to OpenRouter or TypeSafe direct, and LLM_API_KEY is for drafting the three candidates, defaulting to DeepSeek. Both are written to the HKCU\Environment registry rather than a file, and no key appears in any log.

It is three stages with two Jev calls: first Jev answers seven questions about intent, need, action and tension, that summary is fed to the drafting model as a crib to write three candidates, then Jev ranks them. If the judgment call fails it falls back to blind drafting plus one combined question.

The bundled release covers WeChat and KakaoTalk, with WeChat using RapidOCR's Chinese and English model and KakaoTalk switching to Windows' offline OCR for Korean. Adding another app is one line in app/chatapps.py, and the interface switch is Simplified Chinese or Korean.
