Highlights

  • Targets parity with the official Python and JavaScript SDKs at version 0.6.0, with parity notes listing revisions and deliberate differences.
  • Typed Noul, Choice, and Score questions and answers, model discovery, cancellation, and complete HTTP response metadata.
  • Default retries cover 408, 429, 5xx, connection errors, and timeouts, with 500 ms exponential backoff capped at 5 s and up to 25% jitter.
  • A 30-second retry budget follows Python while the 60-second retry-header cap follows JavaScript.
  • Rust 1.88 or newer with Rustls by default; the synchronous client is behind the blocking feature.

Quickstart

rust
use serde_json::json;
use typesafe_ai_rs::{Client, Noul, Question, SystemOneRequest};

let client = Client::new()?;
let response = client
    .system_one(SystemOneRequest::new(
        json!({"document": "I was charged twice. Please fix this ASAP."}),
        [("billing", Question::from(Noul::new("Is this about billing?")))],
    ))
    .await?;

println!("billing: {}", response.nouls()["billing"].noul);

Watch out

MIT-licensed but independently maintained and not an official TypeSafe SDK; needs Rust 1.88+ and TYPESAFE_API_KEY, and its tests use local HTTP servers without a key.
