About this project

Self-Hosted TypeSafe System One API, on Local Models. Quickstart | Docs | API | GPU | Docker | Production. oido-systemone is a local, drop-in server for TypeSafe's System One API (POST /v1/systemone). It runs a GGUF model (MiniCPM5-2B or Qwen3.5-4B) in-process through Kronk and llama.cpp, so answers never leave your machine. Every answer is one forward pass and one token: a softmax over option-letter logprobs. No text is generated. One Go binary. Docker optional, no external API.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • One Go binary with optional Docker; GPU backends picked automatically with CPU fallback and no external API.
  • Mixes noul, choice and score in one request; jev-latest alias lets TypeSafe SDKs work unchanged.
  • Each answer is one forward pass and one token as softmax over option-letter logprobs; Swagger UI at /docs.
  • Includes API key, TLS, rate limiting, /healthz, Prometheus /metrics, and graceful shutdown for production.

Watch out

First run downloads libs and models into ~/.kronk/ and needs Go plus C toolchain; models carry their own licenses. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

The request shape barely changes across surfaces; the surrounding contract does. When to call the API directly and when a gateway, a Worker binding, or a router entry earns its extra hop.
