This is one of several Jev listings for the same project. The canonical entry is Jev CLI — shaharia-lab.

About this project

A Bun CLI for asking TypeSafe AI typed questions about JSON or plain-text state. The root command evaluates an API-shaped map of mixed questions in one request; choice, noul, and score provide concise single-question commands for shell scripts. Effect CLI v4 handles arguments and the TypeSafe JavaScript SDK performs each judgment. A TypeSafe API key for live requests. You can persist the variable in your shell profile or place it in a .env file in the directory where you run jev. Bun loads that file automatically.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • State accepts inline JSON, files, plain text, or stdin; Bun auto-loads .env for the API key.
  • Choice needs two or more labels; Noul prints 0-1 probability; Score prints zero-indexed weighted level.
  • Criteria and levels accept inline values or JSON files; --choices and --levels should be final flags.
  • Built on Effect CLI v4 with TypeSafe JS SDK 0.6.x and generated --help per command.

Watch out

Needs Bun and a TypeSafe key; dry runs only validate local inputs and cannot report auth or server errors. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

The request shape barely changes across surfaces; the surrounding contract does. When to call the API directly and when a gateway, a Worker binding, or a router entry earns its extra hop.
