About this project

OpenAI's Decisions API answers predicate, choice and score questions about a shared input — text or images — and returns typed answers with one usage for the call. jevper speaks that schema over any model and any OpenAI-compatible surface, so the questions can go to the endpoint you already have:

Highlights

  • SystemOneClient wraps OpenAI-style clients with Choice, Score, and Noul question objects.
  • method auto prefers logprobs when the provider supports them and JSON otherwise.
  • Not affiliated with TypeSafe; independent implementation of the public wire contract.
  • Show HN thread hn-jevper-thread discusses using another model's reasoning for classification.

Watch out

Apache-2.0. Probabilities from JSON completions are not the same calibration story as hosted Jev.

Original write-ups on what this entry is for.

Jev takes text only; Clef-omni adds image, audio, and video input and Liquid d1 adds images, each keeping the same typed-answer shape. Where that matters, where it does not, and the costs the vendors underplay.
