Jev Dllm

Reads typed probabilities out of a masked diffusion language model: a shared Yes/No head with a mask beside each candidate answers choice, boolean and ordered-score questions without generating text. Ships an S1 checkpoint, a 17-suite benchmark and a local HTTP service.

Shared Yes/No decision adaptation with diffusion language models

Highlights

  • A shared Yes/No head with a mask next to each candidate, so probabilities come from the diffusion model itself rather than from parsing generated text.
  • Includes a revision-pinned S1 checkpoint on Hugging Face, an evaluation harness, and a standard-library HTTP server exposing `/v1/systemone` on localhost.
  • Over-long inputs are recorded as `unsupported_length` rather than truncated, and the coverage denominator is documented next to accuracy.
  • An optional Kev comparison arm runs in a separate environment, so its pinned dependencies cannot contaminate the main benchmark environment.

Watch out

The contamination story is documented rather than solved. Benchmark preparation replays a frozen membership selection and does not re-run the full private exposure audit; it is relative only to known S0 and S1 training and dev exposure, pretraining overlap is unknown, and the public items have already been observed. The model comparison filters out confirmed training-seen sources, and retained items still have unconfirmed source overlap. On the engineering side the loader runs with `trust_remote_code=True`, which executes custom code from the checkpoint, and `requirements.txt` is not a complete lock file — validation reused an existing environment rather than a from-scratch install. You also need a BF16-capable NVIDIA GPU on a CUDA 12.1-compatible driver. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

Most Jev accuracy problems are state problems. What belongs in a state, what is a pre-made judgment to leave out, and why naming the slice you ask about matters more than the wording.
