This is one of several Jev listings for the same project. The canonical entry is Pi TypeSafe — DevMortimer.
A TypeSafe Jev coding-assist sidecar for Pi. It runs four pre-flight hazard checks before bash, write, and edit, and four diff-quality checks after successful write and edit. Questions share one TypeSafe System One request per phase. Jev returns typed values; this extension applies thresholds and writes fixed feedback text.

Watch out
Advisory warnings arrive after execution and cannot prevent side effects; blocking refuses qualifying hazards with { block: true, reason } but does not set terminate, so the agent can revise its next call. The pre-flight thresholds the README calls initial policy choices rather than calibrated guarantees run from 0.90 to 0.95, and a hazard only fires when the returned label is true and confidence meets the threshold. Configuration is read when the extension loads, so a change needs a reload. Node 24 and Pi 0.85.1 are the pinned development versions, Pi itself needs Node 22.19.0 or newer, and Pi does not load this repository's .env automatically. TYPESAFE_BASE_URL is honoured only for a valid HTTPS URL; HTTP is refused without a loopback exception because the API key is sent to that endpoint. The README also warns against loading the extension through both installation and -e, which would judge each operation twice. The digest we reviewed is cut off mid-sentence inside the latency section. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.
