OMP plugin that judges bash commands and process-spawning eval payloads with Jev before they run, adding a real permission prompt in yolo mode while leaving your existing deny, prompt and narrow allow rules untouched.

Jev-powered model-judged permission gate for OMP (TypeSafe System One)
Repo stats from the GitHub API, cached Oct 2026.
Jev-judged permission checks for OMP's bash tool, and for eval payloads that spawn processes. In yolo mode, OMP auto-approves every bash command. That includes the ones nobody should wave through: curl … | sh, rm -rf /, dd of=/dev/…, mkfs, kill -9 1, nc -e. A second hole compounds it. A bash.patterns rule written to prompt on exactly those shapes never fires, because the native gate ranks critical-pattern matches above prompt rules.

Watch out
Three things to weigh. First, the eval subprocess scan is explicitly a marker list rather than a parser, so string-splitting evasion like "child_pro" + "cess" gets through, and the README calls kernel-level interception the structural fix, tracked as issue #13. Second, it needs a TypeSafe API key in the environment or the macOS keychain under service name jev; with neither, every classification fails closed into a permission request, which in a headless session means the call blocks. Third, jev-latest resolves server-side to whatever dated build is current, so pin a dated model id if you need reproducibility across a behavior change. Budget for the friction too: commands longer than 8,000 characters are blocked outright, and the overlay deliberately over-flags in places such as a heredoc whose delimiter is named sudo, with the README saying over-flagging is the direction it is allowed to be wrong in. Always-allow grants persist to a JSON file beside the plugin config, capped at 500 entries and pruned on a 30-day TTL, switchable off with persistentGrants: false. Development needs Bun, though there is no runtime dependency, SDK or build step. The README continues past the point this listing's source text ends, cut off in the uninstall notes.
