SignalChain

Data-cleaning framework that asks Jev Choice questions to classify each CSV column into a 13-code type vocabulary and each dataset into one of six scenes, then executes every write locally; an optional System 2 LLM handles the default path or escalations.

Highlights

  • Field results map to 13 signal codes (I, G, A, D, N, C, T, M, E, P, L, R, X) and five built-in scenes S1-S5 plus S0
  • Three run modes: pure System 2 by default, pure Jev with --system1, or chained with --escalate; low-confidence Jev fields fall back to pass_through
  • Fingerprint cache signal_cache.json is partitioned per decision engine, so alternating runs do not overwrite each other
  • README reports Jev at 6.6-12.7x lower token cost than an LLM on column classification because the answer is already one character
  • Categorical-variable analysis adds a second AI pass for ordered versus unordered and executes R scripts for the statistics

Watch out

MIT license. Documentation is Chinese-language; the Jev path is optional and needs a TypeSafe or DeepSeek key, and the categorical analysis requires an R installation.

Focus mode for Omarchy and Hyprland that judges each screen against the task you declared and escalates from a red reticle to a window haze and, as a last resort, closing the drifting browser tab. Each check is one Jev on-task classification, with screenshots OCR'd locally and never uploaded.

Python agent framework whose TypeSafeModel class runs Jev as a decision model inside Pydantic AI agents: Pydantic output-type fields become typed Jev questions answered together in one request, each answer carrying its own confidence, and tools can be offered as Choice options.
