Polymarket BTC 5m Jev trader

Terminal agent for Polymarket's BTC Up or Down five-minute markets. Roughly every five seconds it asks Jev whether BTC finishes UP or DOWN versus the window open, then abstains or buys once and holds to resolution. Defaults to dry-run; live orders are opt-in.

About this project

A terminal agent for Polymarket’s BTC Up or Down 5-minute markets. It watches the live 5m window, asks TypeSafe Jev whether BTC finishes UP or DOWN vs the window open, and either abstains or buys once and holds to resolution. Default mode is dry-run (no real orders). Live trading is optional. For live trading only: a Polygon wallet that already works on Polymarket (connected, funded with USDC.e, able to trade in the browser). This project does not set allowances or deposits for you.

Highlights

  • Asks Jev for side plus confidence each tick and enters only when confidence is above 0.90
  • Also requires ask at most 0.70, edge at least 0.10 and 90+ seconds left; otherwise it waits
  • Dry-run by default; live mode posts fill-or-kill CLOB orders only when LIVE_TRADING=1
  • Offline fixture mode with --stub-judge runs without a TypeSafe key for testing
  • Ink TUI plus npm run once for a single tick as JSON; thresholds configured through .env

Watch out

No license file, so the code is all rights reserved by default. Experimental software and not financial advice; live trading needs a funded Polygon wallet and can lose money.

The request shape barely changes across surfaces; the surrounding contract does. When to call the API directly and when a gateway, a Worker binding, or a router entry earns its extra hop.
