Highlights

  • Dictation with a global hotkey, live preview on supported engines, and auto-paste of the result into the active window.
  • Meeting capture records microphone and system audio on Windows and macOS 13+; Linux system audio is documented as a preview.
  • Enable Settings → API & MCP so agents can search history, transcripts and meeting insights; retitling and agent-writable settings are optional.
  • Remote engines let one machine share its Parakeet engine over LAN or Tailscale with a pairing code.
  • Packaged releases bundle Python; source runs need Python 3.11 or 3.12 and support Intel Macs.

Quickstart

Watch out

Copy reviewed against the repo README on 2026-10-15; the README documents no Jev integration, so the Jev connection is only that the item appears in logicwr's awesome-jev listing. Meeting capture needs specific OS permissions, and Linux packages require x86_64.
