A playable Three.js driving simulator on Interstate 08 where a Jev-powered autopilot handles steering and speed. You briefly drive to the signed on-ramp, then the autopilot merges, cruises and exits into Cedar Town.
The simulator sends compact tables of eligible paths, road boundaries, nearby traffic, signals, recent-stop memory and destination guidance. Jev chooses among sampled steering-and-speed candidates; the detailed geometry and control calculations stay local.
Up to 4 times per second near turns or traffic, and about 1.5 times per second on clear roads. Questions with a single eligible answer are resolved locally without calling Jev.
The hosted demo at jevpilot.standardagents.ai gives $0.25 of free Jev play credit after signing in with Standard Agents. Local development skips login and credit limits but uses your own TYPESAFE_API_KEY and TypeSafe billing; free play still works without a key.
Yes: npm ci, copy .env.example to .env, set TYPESAFE_API_KEY there, then npm run dev and open localhost:5173. The key stays server-side in the gitignored .env and must not use a VITE_ variable.
J toggles autopilot, WASD drives, and Space brakes. The Candidates view shows sampled paths in colour, and the JSON panel exposes road boundaries, recovery state and choice probabilities.
The GitHub metadata captured on 2026-10-15 reports no licence for the repository, so treat reuse as restricted until the author adds one. The README does document that Jev calls run through a server-side API route rather than the browser.
