About this project

Ask AI questions about any web page in one click. Select some text (or nothing at all), click the icon, and get clear, structured answers from Jev by TypeSafe AI in seconds. Chrome · Edge · Firefox · Free · Bring your own API key. Built by Eric Cheng (@onlineeric), the author of Speedy Git, a performance-first Git graph, Git action tool and Git worktrees manager for VS Code, Cursor and other coding IDEs.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • One-click answers on selection or full page with three starter questions for sentiment, kind, and actionability.
  • Custom JSON template with noul, choice, and score questions reusable across research, support, and triage.
  • Every result shows tokens, estimated cost, model, sent text, and raw response for inspection.
  • Key stays on device and goes only to the built-in Jev endpoint; answers render as plain text.

Watch out

Store listings were pending; self-build and load locally, and usage is billed to your own TypeSafe account. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

The request shape barely changes across surfaces; the surrounding contract does. When to call the API directly and when a gateway, a Worker binding, or a router entry earns its extra hop.
