jev-chat-jarvis builds floating windows with candidate replies plus OCR and a second text model. This app shows only 3 Toasts, reads only the accessibility tree with no screenshots, and covers WeChat single chats only.
It does not modify, inject, send, or read outside the current window, using the same mechanism as screen readers. That is lower risk than hook plugins, but there is no official guarantee from WeChat.
Open Settings and check the log line with node and adopted-row counts. Zero adopted rows on a chat page means this WeChat build exposes no message text; a missing opponent usually means left-right attribution differs on your device.
The repo tested 10 cases x 3 wordings x 3 runs: Chinese scored highest on the composite and lowest on urgency error, while English was more confident but changed labels 35% of the time. Default stays zh with mix and en optional.
Download the 861 KB APK from Releases, which installs directly on Android 8.0 or newer, or build from source with JDK 17 and Android SDK 35; CI produces a debug-signed APK on every push. Enabling the accessibility service and pasting a TypeSafe key are the first two steps.
Only the matched relation, the other person's gender, the session type, the recent visible lines and the message being analyzed go to api.typesafe.ai. Keys, the contact table and logs stay in local SharedPreferences, and the app installs no third-party SDKs.
