Jev Cloud Quiz

A 30-question quiz that names a feature from AWS, Azure or Google Cloud with the brand removed and asks Jev which cloud it belongs to, drawing the returned probability distribution as three bars.

Highlights

  • Brand names are stripped and the three clouds' equivalent features are lined up, so a question cannot be answered from the vendor's name.
  • The three bars are the model's probabilities plotted directly — Jev returns a distribution over options and generates no text.
  • Deliberately ambiguous questions come back with shorter bars, since the model's confidence drops when the answer is unclear.
  • The key stays in a Lambda in us-west-2 to shorten the Jev round trip, while the quiz itself is served from CloudFront.

Watch out

This is a demo with 30 fixed questions about cloud service feature names, and the README reports no accuracy figures or failure rates — the only claims are that a probability distribution comes back and that confidence drops on the ambiguous ones. It is also AWS-shaped end to end: the deciding function is a Lambda pinned to us-west-2 to minimize the round trip to Jev, the page is served from a CloudFront edge location, and deployment stores the key as an SSM SecureString before running the CDK scripts. The interface and documentation are in Japanese. Without TYPESAFE_API_KEY exported, npm run serve has nothing to call. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.
