Highlights
- Runs as MCP stdio via bunx -y @livx.cc/mcp-jev --stdio, or in HTTP mode with REST /api/jev/evaluate and MCP /api/mcp.
- Exposes one tool, post_jev_evaluate, taking state, questions[], and an optional provider argument.
- Supports choice, score, and boolean question types, each returning probabilities and an optional confidence value.
- Provider fallback order defaults to vercel, openrouter, typesafe; unconfigured providers are skipped and failures fall through.
- Also importable as a library from @livx.cc/mcp-jev/jev, with new vendors added as one file in src/providers/.
Questions about this entry
Short answers drawn from the linked project or page.
Run bunx -y @livx.cc/mcp-jev --stdio for MCP stdio mode, or run bun run http from a clone to start HTTP mode, which serves REST at /api/jev/evaluate and MCP at /api/mcp on PORT 3854 by default.
At least one provider key is required: AI_GATEWAY_API_KEY for the vercel provider, OPENROUTER_API_KEY for openrouter, or TYPESAFE_API_KEY for the direct typesafe provider. Unconfigured providers are skipped at runtime.
It exposes post_jev_evaluate, which accepts a state, a list of questions, and an optional provider, and returns the provider, model id, answers, and optional usage information.
Three types: choice, which takes an option-to-description map and returns a choice with probabilities; score, which takes two or more string labels and returns a score with probabilities; and boolean, which returns a probability.
The provider argument takes precedence, then the JEV_PROVIDERS environment variable, then the default order vercel, openrouter, typesafe. Failures fall through to the next configured provider.
Yes. The package is importable from @livx.cc/mcp-jev/jev, so you can call the evaluation logic directly in your own code rather than going through the MCP tool interface.
Defaults are typesafe-ai/jev for the vercel provider, typesafe/jev-1.13 for openrouter, and jev-latest for the direct typesafe provider. Each can be overridden with JEV_VERCEL_MODEL, JEV_OPENROUTER_MODEL, or JEV_TYPESAFE_MODEL.
