Jevkit — maxivanyshen

Self-hosted Jev tools for coding agents: one stdlib HTTP server holds the TypeSafe key while CLIs (ask-jev, jev-review), agent skills and a Pi tool ask Jev typed questions about code instead of reading it into agent context.

This is one of several Jev listings for the same project. The canonical entry is jevkit (Go).

Highlights

  • One stdlib-only HTTP server holds the TypeSafe key and exposes /health, /ask and /review endpoints.
  • /ask evaluates one state or a batch of up to 100 with noul, choice and score questions in a single request.
  • /review splits a raw diff per file and asks a fixed rubric: needs_review, risk, category, security_concern, missing_tests.
  • install.sh puts ask-jev and jev-review in ~/.local/bin, skills into ~/.claude/skills and ~/.agents/skills, plus a Pi extension.
  • A failed item gets an error object; if every item fails the endpoint returns 502.

Quickstart

bash
docker build -t jevkit . && docker run -e TYPESAFE_API_KEY=... -p 8787:8787 jevkit
TYPESAFE_API_KEY=... python3 -m jevkit.server

Watch out

Copy reviewed against the truncated repo README on 2026-10-15; the excerpt stops inside the ask-jev usage section, and GitHub metadata lists no licence. State clipping at 200 KB and the 32k-token halving rule are as documented in the README.
