It depends on fragile platform behaviour: WeChat obfuscates accessibility nodes on recent versions, so the service disguises itself as a system SelectToSpeak service and may break on a WeChat update, and Feishu renders message bodies in self-drawn controls so body text still needs screenshot plus OCR. Xiaomi and HyperOS freeze the background process even with keepalive and battery exemptions. No. It has no app integration and needs no account. On Android it walks the accessibility tree of the foreground window, and the Windows WeChat build falls back to OCR over a region you select when UI Automation exposes no message controls. That is also what lets the same core point at a new chat app without app-specific APIs.
