Highlights

  • Summoned by middle-click, hotkey, or the kurek CLI; reasons with DeepSeek-Flash and speaks through xAI Grok TTS voice Sol.
  • Runs under a 600M systemd memory limit with heavy child jobs moved into their own scopes, and tool calls time out at 120 s.
  • Memory is SQLite in WAL mode with an FTS5 index, auto-importing the legacy JSON file and falling back to plain word matching.
  • Optional TypeSafe Jev triage decides which Muse memory entries are promoted to the durable core.
  • An opt-in Tailscale remote streams replies from an Android app built from android/, silent on the PC by default.

Watch out

GitHub reports the license as NOASSERTION while the README badge says CC BY-NC 4.0, so check terms before commercial use. It is built for Arch/Omarchy/Hyprland first, the macOS client is less exercised, and the legacy PyQt6 GUI is unsupported.

The request shape barely changes across surfaces; the surrounding contract does. When to call the API directly and when a gateway, a Worker binding, or a router entry earns its extra hop.
