Highlights

MIT-licensed. Needs a TypeSafe or OpenRouter key and Cloudflare D1 to deploy; the MCP server's daily budget lives in server memory, so a restart resets the day to $0 and each client starts its own server.

They are computed personas, not users. Jev writes no text and answers typed questions with probabilities, so each reaction is a judgment made about a described person. A text starts with the 600 people Jev thinks it is for and travels further only while the crowd is glad to see it, which is why spam, rage and scam listings die in the first wave.
Sometimes, and the project tells you to check the Audience tab. The town knows work, age, interests, money, city and shopping, so words about anything else do not count: tech founders of early-stage B2B SaaS becomes everybody who works in business. Nothing has to be connected in advance; Jev reads the words and shows you how.
From about a cent for a text that dies in the first wave to about ten cents for one that reaches all 10,000, taking 3 seconds to a minute. Asking the town adds up to three requests of up to 100 people, roughly $0.003 for a post, and a post with an audience makes one more request. Over MCP, compare_texts is about a cent per variant.
There are guards, but they are per server process. JEVTOWN_MCP_DAILY_BUDGET_USD, default 1 and 0 for no limit, refuses a call whose worst case would pass it, and JEVTOWN_MCP_MAX_SECONDS, default 45, keeps a check from starting a wave it cannot finish. The count lives in memory, so a restart begins the day at $0 and each client starts its own server, meaning two open sessions can spend twice the limit.

An MCP server at mcp/server.js exposes check_text for one text and compare_texts for two to five variants, paid from your key; add it to Claude Code or Claude Desktop with the Node path it prints.
