Jev.nvim

Neovim plugin that splits the buffer into functions with Treesitter, asks Jev one plain-language question per function, and fills quickfix with the hits ranked by probability. It judges the unsaved buffer rather than the file on disk.

About this project

Ask the buffer a question in plain language. Every function in it gets judged, and the answers land in quickfix ranked by probability. It opens on the grep you write when you go looking for SQL injection:

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • Splits the buffer with Treesitter and sends one plain-language question per function to Jev.
  • Hits land in quickfix ranked by calibrated probability, so :cnext and :cdo work on them.
  • Reads the buffer rather than the file, so it judges edits that are not saved yet.
  • Judges each function alone; a question about how two functions interact gets the wrong list.
  • Ships make test, make measure, and a fake Jev endpoint so the suite runs with no key or network.

Watch out

MIT-licensed, with Apache-2.0 Treesitter patterns under queries/. Needs Neovim 0.10+, curl, a Treesitter parser for the language being asked about, and a TYPESAFE_API_KEY; the model defaults to jev-1.13.0.
