Jev Issue Radar

A read-only triage dashboard that finds likely duplicate GitHub issues: lexical retrieval shortlists candidates, Jev answers four Choice questions per pair, and selected passages are shown side by side. It never closes issues.

Highlights

  • Retrieval scans up to 300 recently updated items, excludes PRs and the source issue, and ranks up to 5 candidates before any paid call.
  • Jev 1.13 answers four Choice questions per candidate: likely duplicate, related, distinct or insufficient info, evidence passages and a reason.
  • A duplicate is shown only when both evidence IDs exist, the reason is compatible, the input was not truncated and confidence is at least 0.8.
  • The public sample needs no signup, install or key: four synthetic reports with clearly labelled, hand-authored decisions.
  • Read-only by design: it never closes issues, adds labels or posts comments — the maintainer makes the final call.

Watch out

Copy reviewed against the truncated repo README on 2026-10-15; the excerpt stops inside the example section. The project calls itself an experimental MVP: in the initial four-pair synthetic smoke test two relationships matched the expected labels, and in a later three-pair check 0/3 canonical issues reached the top five — documented as a retrieval limit, not a Jev classification result.
