Highlights

  • 0.761 accuracy, 0.1319 KL, 0.0716 Brier, and 0.1480 per-question ECE on 400 test cases and 2,000 decisions never seen in training.
  • Baselines on the same split: prior 0.478 accuracy and zero-shot Gemma 3 270M 0.279, against the fine-tune's 0.761.
  • Each (case, question) prompt lists options as letters A, B, C, and the logits at the reply position restricted to those letters are softmaxed.
  • 68 ms per case on CUDA; 1,080 cases trained with 120 held out for epoch selection on validation KL.
  • Per type: noul 0.822, score 0.739, and choice 0.732 accuracy, with ECE 0.066, 0.158, and 0.112.

Watch out

The gemma licence applies, and the gold labels are the mean of three teacher samples, so scores measure agreement with that teacher, whose self-agreement is about 0.735. ECE is averaged per question (0.1480), not pooled (0.1146), and all figures are the card's own run on the held-out split.
