About this project

A multiplayer social-engineering trap game. Jev (TypeSafe AI) plays the attacker — and you are the target. 2–6 players, one screen (pass-and-play). You're employees of a fictional company. Attack or legitimate? — a real phish, or a legit message to punish paranoia. Which vector? — phishing email, smishing, vishing, fake portal, USB drop, QR code, CEO fraud, fake update. Who to target? — it studies who falls for what and aims at the weakest player. Which exact lure? — picked from a bank of 40 scenarios.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • 40 scenarios across 8 vectors with 3 attacks and 2 legit each; lures render as inbox, SMS, call transcript, or login page.
  • Hidden Trust-or-Report votes, then red or green flags explained; Jev mind panel shows each decision with probabilities.
  • Scores +2 for spotting attacks, -3 for falling, +1 for trusting legit, -1 for false alarm; narrows on weak spots.
  • Runs via npm install and npm start on port 3000; without a key a local brain plays instead, less cunning.

Watch out

Pass-and-play on one screen for 2-6 players; full Jev play needs a TypeSafe key, otherwise a local brain plays. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.
