About this project

A standalone terminal agent with Jev in its decision loop. Eutrya owns its CLI, sessions, state, permissions, planning loop, and tool execution. It is not a Pi extension, a Hermes skill, or an agent that has to remember to consult Jev. For a live session, configure your provider credentials and run setup: Do not commit real credentials. See .env.example and SECURITY.md before using confidential workspaces or effectful tools. Version: 0.4.9. Node.js 22+. Linux-first; tested here on Linux with Node 22.16.0.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • CLI is the supported interface with sessions, permissions, and tool execution owned by Eutrya rather than a plugin.
  • Research lane is deliberately read-only, using semantic code operations and a ledger of invariants and hypotheses.
  • Hunt mode keeps a persistent Kanban board and routes only idle specialists, avoiding the original worker on review.
  • Demo and tests run on built-in modules with mock evaluation labelled MOCK, before any credentials or paid calls.

Watch out

Public alpha without an independent security audit, desktop UI is experimental and Linux-first, and the evaluation interface is experimental. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

Proxy that sits between any MCP client and any stdio MCP server and screens tool calls, tool results and tool descriptions with Jev probabilities, layering deterministic allowlists, semantic checks and session taint tracking over a JSONL audit trail.

A local MCP server that gives Codex a few cited excerpts instead of a whole noisy search result, with a deterministic default selector that needs no Jev account or key.
