Decide — koltyakov
A community Go CLI and MCP server that puts Jev's native decision API into coding-agent workflows. It runs noul, choice, score, box, and systemone decisions from the shell or as MCP tools, with dry-run request previews, caller-supplied acceptance gates, and ordered JSONL batches.

This is one of several Jev listings for the same project. The canonical entry is Decide — vsekhar.
Highlights
- Ships a CLI named decide plus a stdio MCP server for coding agents.
- Supports noul, choice, score, systemone, and experimental box decisions in Jev's native response format.
- Installs MCP or skill files for opencode, claude, codex, cursor, copilot, devin, windsurf, antigravity, and agents.
- Batch mode reuses a recipe's questions across JSONL states with bounded concurrency and exit 6 for failed records.
- Gate flags such as --at-least 0.9 exit 5 when a valid decision misses the threshold.
Questions about this entry
Short answers drawn from the linked project or page.
On Linux or macOS a curl install script places the binary in ~/.local/bin; on Windows a PowerShell script does the same. Both require published GitHub releases and verify SHA-256 checksums. With Go 1.27.3 or newer you can run go install github.com/koltyakov/decide/cmd/decide@latest.
noul checks a statement and returns a probability from 0 to 1, choice selects one of your declared labels, score grades against an ordered rubric, systemone asks several independent questions about shared evidence in one request, and box locates a target in an image behind an explicit experimental opt-in.
decide install-mcp accepts opencode, claude, codex, cursor, copilot, devin, windsurf, antigravity, or agents, installing globally by default. Add --project . for a project-local install, except for legacy Windsurf MCP. Other hosts can run /absolute/path/to/decide mcp as a stdio server.
Yes. Flags such as --dry-run on the systemone command validate and preview the encoded request without a key or an API call. The preview includes the supplied content, so it should be kept private, and it does not predict model accuracy or server acceptance.
The official default is jev-latest. OpenRouter, AI/ML API, Vercel, DigitalOcean, Cloudflare, and custom native endpoints are also supported. Model versions and image support differ by provider, and some non-official providers need a small billable decision to verify the connection.
Exit 5 means a valid decision did not meet a caller-supplied gate, not an API failure. Multi-question gates and value output require --answer NAME. Exit 6 means some records in a batch failed, and record failures are reported explicitly.
decide providers connect uses an environment variable or a saved key, or prompts for one, and verifies the connection before saving; a failed verification leaves saved settings untouched. Credentials stay outside agent configuration, and the installers configure no credentials themselves.
