Definition
Coding agents make many small decisions per turn — which tool, which file, which skill — and the expensive model does not need to make any of them. Jev's docs include a dedicated page on what it is and is not when you are using a coding agent.
The ecosystem around it is broad: MCP servers, auto-approval gates for tool calls, context pruners that drop irrelevant files, and skill rankers that pick one of hundreds of skills before the agent commits.
