About this project

One CLI and one Jev-compatible HTTP API for local and hosted decision models. Run s1 once from the command line, or start s1 serve to keep models loaded behind a Jev-compatible HTTP API. Both return typed JSON—no generated prose to parse. Point your application at s1 once; change the decision model in configuration, not in code. Highlights

  • Common Choice, Noul, and Score interface across OpenJev, Laya, Kev, GLiNER2, TypeSafe, Vercel, and OpenRouter.
  • s1 backends and GET /v1/backends report per-backend capabilities and extension support.
  • Layered configuration with s1 setup, checksum-pinned Hugging Face weights, and env-var credentials.
  • TypeSafe JS SDK compatible; hosted keys read from env and never probed when unset to avoid billing.

Watch out

Matching the wire contract does not mean matching accuracy or calibration; some backends are mock-tested or source-only builds. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

Jev takes text only; Clef-omni adds image, audio, and video input and Liquid d1 adds images, each keeping the same typed-answer shape. Where that matters, where it does not, and the costs the vendors underplay.
