About this project

A short, friendly starting point for Jev, the AI model from TypeSafe AI that answers with typed, calibrated decisions instead of text — so software can act on the output directly. Community-maintained, not affiliated with TypeSafe AI. Official site: typesafe.ai. Jev is not a chatbot. It's a System One model built to be called by other software. You send it context + questions; it returns a choice, a score, or a yes/no probability. It can't hallucinate a format — the answer type is fixed by your request.

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • Frames Jev as a model called by software, not a chatbot, with typed decisions for automation.
  • Documents three answer types: choice among options, ordered score, and calibrated yes-no probability.
  • Shows one-POST usage with state plus questions across curl, Python, and TypeScript guides.
  • Notes input-only pricing with free output and a free browser playground for first calls.

Watch out

Community-maintained quickstart and FAQ, not affiliated with TypeSafe; confirm behavior in the official docs before building. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.
