About this project

A minimal grammY Telegram bot that asks TypeSafe's Jev model whether each group message is spam and deletes only high-confidence matches. token, investment, referral, gambling, giveaway, and service shilling; “check my bio/profile/description” and DM/channel funnels; low-substance emoji or generic-engagement hooks backed by adult-content bio/personal-channel metadata; phishing, wallet drainers, fake support, and fraudulent airdrops; unsolicited bot/game promotion, sexual/DM bait, and easy-money pitches;

Quoted from the project's README. Read the full README.

Highlights

  • Covers shilling, bio funnels, phishing, wallet drainers, fake support, testimonial promo, service ads, and mass mentions.
  • Admins, bot senders, genuine anonymous admins, and the verified linked channel are exempt; forwarding never exempts.
  • Keeps ten messages per chat and sender for about ten minutes to catch pitches split across messages, pinned to jev-1.13.0.
  • Runs on bun install, check, and start with TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN plus TYPESAFE_API_KEY, optional Postgres, Docker, and /status.

Watch out

If Jev or Telegram is unavailable it keeps the message, uncaptioned media without usable profile metadata stays unclassified, and text is sent as structured input but never logged. Copy reviewed against the repository README on 2026-10-04, not from running it.

The request shape barely changes across surfaces; the surrounding contract does. When to call the API directly and when a gateway, a Worker binding, or a router entry earns its extra hop.
