Hosted TypeSafe Jev, self-hosted SystemOne servers and custom model hosts, including R9V and Qwen proxies, with optional bearer tokens and any server-accepted model ID.
Booleans become noul, select fields become choice, bounded numbers become score levels, while free text is rejected before any API request.
The domain stays jev from the earlier HA-Jev name, so entity IDs, service calls, YAML and automations keep working after the rename.
No model runs inside Home Assistant; it sends shared state plus typed questions to /v1/systemone and keeps probability metadata in diagnostics.
Home Assistant 2026.9 or newer. Either add the repository in HACS as a custom repository of type Integration, install SystemOne and restart, or copy custom_components/jev from the latest release into config/custom_components and restart. Then add it under Settings, Devices and services, Add integration. Debug logging comes from custom_components.jev at debug level.
The integration normalizes base URLs ending in a slash, /v1 or /v1/systemone and always posts to the correct endpoint. The API token is optional: when it is blank no Authorization header is sent at all, which is what self-hosted servers without authentication need. Setup probes the optional GET /v1/models route without running inference, so a server that lacks it still works and the first real request validates the endpoint.
An optional conversation entity that routes supported smart-home commands through the configured SystemOne model and Home Assistant's intent system, covering on, off, toggle, brightness and state questions. Unsupported or low-confidence requests can be forwarded to a configured fallback conversation agent. Only entities exposed to Assist are included, and whole-home commands are refused by default except turning everything off.
