For a Choice, probabilities maps each option to its probability; for a Score, each level index as a string key. The distribution is the raw material behind confidence, and it is returned in full so you can compute your own certainty measure or feed the values as features into a downstream model.
Because the distribution is constrained to the values you supplied, it doubles as a schema guarantee: the model never invents an option or a level outside your criteria.
